7. Oriental Poppies: I attempted to compose a piece as warm in timbre as the colors in the painting.
This set of pieces was written in the spring of 2016, and first performed at the Weisman Art Museum on June 5, 2016. The project was supported by an Individual Artist Grant through the Minnesota State Arts Board.
