5.     Kaneko “Untitled”:  This piece embodies loneliness, which I created by writing extremely wide spaces between the instruments.  When the lines approach each other, the sound becomes warmer, but ultimately the piece ends with a great distance.

This set of pieces was written in the spring of 2016, and first performed at the Weisman Art Museum on June 5, 2016.  The project was supported by an Individual Artist Grant through the Minnesota State Arts Board.
