8 Bagatelles for Clarinet Trio: 4. Executive in Red Chair

4. Executive in Red Chair: The executive is Mr. Weisman. I made up a conversation between Mr. Weisman & Mr. Gehry and set it to music against a ground bass in the bass clarinet. The piece begins with “Hello” and ends with “Goodbye.” The performers can make up their own conversation to go with what I have written.This set of pieces was written in the spring of 2016, and first performed at the Weisman Art Museum on June 5, 2016. The project was supported by an Individual Artist Grant through the Minnesota State Arts Board.
